About the Role
Our inclusive school is dedicated to providing the best education and support to every child, helping them reach their full potential regardless of their starting point. We are seeking two caring and committed Teaching Assistants to deliver 1:1 support to children in Key Stage 2.
In this role, you will inspire, motivate, and support students both academically and emotionally, fostering their confidence and progress.
Duties and Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate should:
- Possess expertise in supporting a range of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) requirements
- Be confident, resilient, and passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives
- Have practical experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils in a school setting
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy competencies
- Build trusting and effective relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Commit to continuous professional development and growth

Requirements & Qualities
- Previous school experience, ideally in Key Stage 2
- Enhanced DBS clearance (a precondition for this role)
- Empathy and patience in supporting diverse learning requirements
- A willingness to contribute to teamwork and school initiatives
- Topical knowledge of literacy, numeracy, and child development practices
