Teaching Assistant SEND

Make a Difference Every Day

Oasis Academy Warndon is looking to appoint a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our supportive team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. You will play a key role in supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), delivering targeted interventions and promoting positive wellbeing, independence and inclusion throughout the school.

About The Role

Working closely with teachers, HLTAs and the SEND team, you will:

  • Deliver targeted interventions linked to EHCP and individual learning targets.
  • Support pupils within the classroom and through small-group or one-to-one interventions.
  • Help pupils access learning by adapting activities and providing appropriate scaffolding.
  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence, independence and self-esteem.
  • Support pupils with additional needs including speech and language, pastoral and communication needs.
  • Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans, Behaviour Plans and Personal Care Programmes where required.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • Supervise and support pupils during learning activities and on educational visits where required.
  • Promote the Academy's vision, values and commitment to inclusion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
