Student Engagement Programme Teaching Assistant (Scale 3, Term Time Only + 5 PD Days)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Student Engagement Programme (SEP). Working under the guidance of the SEP Tutors and senior staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students to access learning and achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity to work both within and beyond the classroom, providing tailored support to pupils, including those with additional needs, while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will build constructive relationships with students, encouraging engagement, confidence and independence. You will support the delivery of learning activities, help implement individual education and behaviour plans, and provide feedback on student progress. You will also contribute to maintaining a safe, orderly, and stimulating environment, promote positive behaviour, and work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents/carers to support student development.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills. You will have a good understanding of supporting learning, including the use of ICT, and the ability to adapt activities to meet individual student needs. A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development is essential.
