Location: Hillingdon Manor School, Uxbridge UB8 3HD Salary: £24,675.00 per annum (not pro rata) Hours: 38.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only Start: September 2026

We’re looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team and help pupils thrive at Hillingdon Manor School.
At Hillingdon Manor School, we’re looking for a Teaching Assistant who’s eager to support students with Autism and additional needs. Every day is about connection, growth, and small victories that lead to big achievements.

What you’ll do:
- Support engaging classroom activities that bring learning to life
- Prepare learning materials and resources to help every pupil succeed
- Encourage independence, confidence, and self-belief in pupils
- Provide emotional and physical support with empathy and care
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued
- Work closely with teachers and specialists, learning from experienced professionals
You’ll gain hands-on experience with guidance and supervision, working alongside a team that shares knowledge and supports your growth. Every day will bring new challenges and rewards — and we’ll be with you every step of the way.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experience working with children
- Adaptable, empathetic, and enthusiastic
- Excited to work across indoor and outdoor learning environments
- A team player who’s open to learning and growing together
- Committed to making a real, lasting difference in pupils’ lives
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) desirable

About Us
Hillingdon Manor is an independent specialist school for autistic pupils aged 11 to 19, spread across two vibrant sites. We offer a personalised, autism-specific education that nurtures each pupil’s strengths and abilities, with an adapted curriculum designed to meet individual needs and help students achieve their full potential.
Guided by our core values — Ready, Respectful, and Safe — we create a positive and supportive learning environment. Our secondary provision supports around 125 students, taught in smaller class sizes, with qualifications tailored to their needs and abilities.
Our aim is to provide the right level of support to unlock each pupil’s potential, enabling them to live fulfilling and productive lives. Students are given as much freedom as possible within a safe, supervised environment, supported by a dedicated team of passionate and understanding professionals.
For over 19 years, Options Autism has provided specialist care and education for children, young people, and adults with autism, complex needs, and learning difficulties.
