Teaching Assistant Vacancy

32.5 hours per week - term time only

Salary: Grade 2 point 3 £21591 pro rata

Required: 1st September 2026

Closing date: 15.07.2026 by 9.00am

Interviews: 17.07.2026

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school community. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and committed to making a difference in children's lives.

Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with children, parents, and staff on a daily basis.

At interview, candidates will be asked for photo identification and where applicable proof of qualifications. The appointment is also subject to the School receiving two satisfactory references. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a full enhanced DBS check with children barred list will be carried out as part of the pre-employment checks for the successful candidate.
