Q - Are you a graduate interested in teaching, but not quite ready to dive into a PGCE or SCITT?
Q - Looking for a school that offers paid teacher training, outstanding leadership, and real development opportunities?
EdEx can help, here's how....

The school is looking for high-achieving graduates, who are keen to embark on teacher training, but want hands-on experience in schools before taking the plunge. The school is graded 'Outstanding' and is part of the leading trust in London. You will be surrounded by like-minded, ambitious, caring graduates, who want to make a genuine difference.
Teaching in London is vibrant, fast-paced and life-changing, not just for you, but for the young people you'll support. We all remember our best teachers. This is your opportunity to become one of them.
EdEx are working on x6 Teaching Assistant roles, starting in September. Full time, Monday to Friday. If you enjoy your year at the school and cement your passion for teaching, inspiring real change and inspiring students, you can train to teach from September 2027, on a salaried teacher training SCITT (paid for + no more student debt). You will be supported, nurtured and progress quickly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
