Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant
9 hours per week (9am – 12 noon, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays) Term-time only plus 8 Professional Development Days (PDDs).
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our highly valued support team in a happy and successful CE Primary School.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Show a commitment to the school’s vision, values and ethos.
- Have high expectations in all aspects of learning and behaviour, fostering a positive classroom environment.
- Be creative, driven and innovative in your approach, contributing to excellent classroom practice.
- Support the day-to-day running of the school in a collaborative and proactive manner.
- Work seamlessly as part of a team, ensuring consistency across all aspects of childcare and education.
- Demonstrate warmth, care and commitment, building strong and respectful relationships with students and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in ensuring the smooth running of learning activities.
- Provide individual and group support to pupils, including those with special educational needs.
- Contribute to a positive, stimulating learning environment.
- Engage in professional development through the 8 PDDs.
