About The Role
Grass Roots are supporting a SEMH school near the Ely area who are looking to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This exciting opportunity is initially offered as a one-term supply contract, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will provide support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment where every young person can achieve their potential.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist educational setting, gaining valuable experience while making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people.

About Them
They are a specialist academy rated Good by Ofsted, supporting over 130 pupils aged from early years to key stage 4. All pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and present with a diverse range of Special Educational Needs.
Our dedicated staff team works collaboratively to provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every child is valued, encouraged and supported to develop their skills, confidence and independence.

- Understands and embraces a therapeutic approach to behaviour, supporting pupils to develop positive behaviours and emotional regulation.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about making a difference to children and young people’s lives.

Experience of working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND or additional needs would be desirable, but we welcome applications from individuals with the right attitude, commitment and willingness to learn.
