Community:Oriented Teaching Assistant (LSW) Needed

Location: Cranleigh, Surrey

Role And Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll make a meaningful impact by:

  • Encouraging and guiding students with complex needs, helping them build confidence and social skills.
  • Providing a caring and structured environment that fosters emotional well-being and personal growth.
  • Assisting with daily activities, including personal care (feeding, toileting, hygiene support) when necessary.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to support educational goals and behaviour management.
  • Helping to create a fun, safe, and engaging atmosphere where all students feel included and valued.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience with Challenging Behaviours: Personal or professional experience working with children or adults with challenging behaviours is essential.
