Primary Teaching Assistant
About the Role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lewisham.

Contract/Position Details
- Location: Lewisham, South East London
- Position Type: Full-time Teaching Assistant (Primary)
- Contract Type: Temporary Contract
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Until end of the academic year September 2026 (possibly ongoing)
- Expected End Date: July 2027
- Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (Monday - Friday; term time only)
- Minimum Pay Rate: £90 per day
Experience, Training, and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 experience in the UK
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
- Experience working within a primary school setting
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new one
- Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years
