About the Role
We are currently seeking a Teaching Fellow to contribute to postgraduate teaching across the business and management portfolio, including the MSc Project Management with Sustainability.
This masters programme develops responsible project management professionals, equipping students to plan, deliver, and evaluate complex projects with a strong emphasis on environmental, social, and economic sustainability. The curriculum seamlessly integrates project management principles, governance and ethics, risk and resilience, digital innovation and AI, stakeholder engagement, change management, and applied sustainability consultancy.
There is an urgent need for a collaborative, passionate academic with strong subject expertise and excellent teaching practice who can deliver engaging, practice-based learning for a diverse postgraduate student body.

Key Responsibilities
The Teaching Fellow will be responsible for:

Teaching delivery:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in business, project management, sustainability, and related areas.
- Lead and teach designated modules—particularly within the MSc Project Management with Sustainability.
- Develop and deliver innovative, industry-informed teaching methods that align with industry standards.

Curriculum and assessment:
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring alignment with market trends and educational best practices.
- Design effective assessment strategies that support learning and student progression.

Student supervision:
- Supervise postgraduate research projects and consultancy work, fostering student autonomy and excellence.
- Mentor students in employability skills and industry readiness.

Student engagement and relationships:
- Build strong relationships with external partners, employers, and industry stakeholders.
- Support recruitment and marketing initiatives to promote DMU London’s academic portfolio.

Collaborative and academic contributions:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on institutional projects, research, and internal workshops.
- Act as a key member of the London campus team, supporting its growth and reputation.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated, collaborative academic with the following skills and experience:

Specialist knowledge:
- Strong subject expertise in business, management, project management, or corporate sustainability.
- Ability to teach topics such as international business, corporate sustainability, stakeholder engagement, or related areas.

Teaching experience and expertise:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging, inclusive, and practice-based learning.
- Commitment to high-quality teaching practices and continual professional development.
- Experience with postgraduate student cohorts, including international students.

Curriculum and innovation:
- Passion for responsible innovation and fostering meaningful industry connections.
- Ability to align teaching closely with industry needs, supports employability and professional practice.

- Self-motivated, collaborative, and keen to contribute to a growing campus environment.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.
