If you are passionate about helping people with Dementia and want to join our supportive multi-disciplinary teams across the county, you will be joining caring, enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated staff teams. We regularly achieve over 96% positive feedback in the Patient Experience Surveys and we are proud to be innovative in our practice. We regularly participate in research studies and we were awarded our accreditation on the Memory Services National Accreditation Programme developed by The Royal College of Psychiatrists in September 2024.
We are looking for two experienced Band 3 Administrators to join our large Pan Dorset MAS team. Both roles are 5 days per week between Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm.
The successful candidate would be joining a friendly, dynamic, professional multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced admin environment based at Alderney Hospital.
Responsibilities
- To schedule appointments as required for the services
- Use of patients records
- Liaising with patients, carers, relatives, GP's relating to appointments, care, the services and meetings.
- To be able to audio type and complete letters
- To be able to transcribe minutes/notes of meetings, assist in audits and surveys as and when required.
- To act as a first point of telephone contact for the service, being courteous and professional at all times
- To take messages and ensure safe relay to the recipient
- To assist with senior administrator responsibilities including assisting with inductions and training.
