Role Overview

This Team Administrator role will be a permanent role, the ideal candidate will deliver administrative service and support to Investment Managers, Portfolio Managers, clients, introducers, and responds to requests from supporting functions. This is achieved by having a clear and precise understanding of all the processes and procedures that are undertaken within the administrative team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Open, scan, and save post to client files
  • Answer and respond to client and introducer queries on the phone and email
  • Stay on top of workflow queues and respond to requests
  • Book meetings for the IM team
  • Liaise with appropriate teams for the effective onboarding of new clients
  • Initiate incoming and outgoing transfers, keeping the Investment Manager/Portfolio Manager updated with progress regularly
  • Instruct internal transfers of cash and stock from one portfolio to another
  • Complete payment instructions from clients, including taking payment instructions and arranging call backs to clients, if required
  • Complete client KYC data amendments and account amendments
  • Process ISA/LISA/JISA and Flexible ISA subscriptions
  • Assist with meeting preparation, including printing and binding client and introducer reports and presentations
  • Build relationships with introducers and their para-planning team, as well as with clients of the team
  • Perform role always ensuring adherence to the expected behaviours stated in the FCA Conduct Rules

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Experience in a similar role as a Team Administrator within Wealth or Investment Management preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrable interest in and understanding of financial services
  • Proven organisation, planning, and prioritising skills
  • Demonstrable level of attention to detail
  • Ability to engage with diverse clients, Professional Advisers, Investment Managers, product providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Possess a passion and energy to deliver successful outcomes for our advisers and clients
