Job Title: Team Assistant
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: London Living Wage. Dependent on experience.
Location: Soho, London (expected 4-5 days in office)
Requirement: Some relevant or transferable assistant/production experience required.
Start date: Mid-September 2026 (date tbc)
We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our small busy team at Hilltop Screen. Hilltop is led by multi-award-winning producer and first female Chair of BAFTA, Hilary Bevan Jones. We are part of the John Gore Studios group, with our own independent slate of TV and Film for national and international audiences.
We are looking for someone organised and with a genuine interest in Film and TV to support the team and operations. This is a fast-paced and primarily administrative role, which will also include creative work where suitable.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Office:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director, Creative Director and development team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, booking travel/work engagements, and processing expenses.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to our Commercial Director across any legal paperwork including filing agreements and using tracker software (no previous legal experience required – needs a proficiency with spreadsheets and a detail-oriented person).
- PA duties for the Managing Director.
- Act as the point person for office management matters, including liaising with IT, ordering and monitoring supplies (when required).
- Take minutes and meetings notes when required – and at all full team meetings.
- Maintain and update internal systems and office documentation.
- Greet guests visiting the office, prepare rooms before and after meetings and offer refreshments for guests and talent when needed.
- When required, may involve assisting with the running of writers’ rooms – including providing logistical support, supplies and preparation.

Development & Production
- Log incoming submissions from talent and agents, maintain up-to-date submission logs and internal tracking systems.
- Log outgoing scripts and treatments.
- Oversee and maintain talent lists and reading lists.
- When required, prepare and distribute relevant materials and reading lists ahead of meetings, ensuring the team are as prepared as possible.
- Read and evaluate scripts and books submissions, providing concise and thoughtful coverage to the development team.
- Provide research support to the development team when required.
- Assist with proofreading, formatting and watermarking scripts.
