Team Assistant

Business Development & Client Services Assistant – London

Location: Pzena Investment Management, London Office Reports To: Client Service Operations Manager EMEA


About the Role

Pzena Investment Management, LLC is a registered investment adviser and broker-dealer with $85 billion in global equity assets, serving institutional and private clients worldwide. Our London office, established in 2015, covers UK, Europe, and the Middle East & Africa, and plays a critical role in our growth strategy.

We are seeking an exceptional Business Development & Client Services Assistant to support the EMEA Business Development & Client Services team. This fast-paced role requires a high level of organisation, communication skills, and flexibility to support cross-functional teams both in London and NYCDublin, adapting to a fast-growing firm.


Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting & Call Coordination

    • Schedule and manage meetings, client interactions, and conference calls
    • Prepare meeting materials, book conference rooms, and handle catering logistics
    • Set up videoconferencing for cross-site collaboration
  • Client Travel & Logistics

    • Manage complex travel arrangements for UK and EMEA business development activities
    • Arrange flights, accommodations, transport, and itineraries for team members
  • Business Development Assistance

    • Plan and coordinate business events, client meetings, and off-site activities
    • Support RFP (Request for Proposal) submissions and sales team presentations
  • Client & Prospect Reporting

    • Develop, prepare, and distribute recurring investor reporting (commentaries, statements, questionnaires)
    • Ensure deadlines are met and communication is compliant and accurate

  • Internal Stakeholder Liaison

    • Collaborate with Compliance, Sales, and Legal teams across NY, Dublin, and Europe
    • Update internal databases (Salesforce), provide approved marketing materials, and gather client data for team operations
  • Operational & Administrative Duties

    • Process team expenses through Expensify and manage financial requests
    • Assist with offsite trading desk and office management, including supplies and postroom operations
  • Team Support & Participation

    • Provide backup to the London Business Development & Client Services Support team
    • Support ad hoc projects and tasks as needed, including discrete data or analytical work

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree Preferred: A degree (any discipline) is advantageous, though not always mandatory
  • Financial Industry Experience: Client reporting or client-facing roles in investment management or financial services are highly valued
  • Essential Competencies
    • Exceptional emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a relentless work ethic
    • Relentless attention to detail and ability to follow through meticulously
    • Flexibility and agility to adapt to shifting priorities
    • Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders and balance multiple competing demands
    • Ability to work effectively across offices and time zones
  • Technical Skills
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook for scheduling, Excel for data, PowerPoint for presentations)
    • Experience handling financial or statistical data is a plus
  • Location & Working Hours
    • Must be available Monday-Friday (9:00 AM–5:30 PM BST) with 4 days on-site per week
