We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic team lead occupational therapy to lead and develop our services within acute respiratory medicine. We are looking for someone with a wide-ranging acute medical clinical experience, specifically working in respiratory, who has good communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Join our friendly and supportive team of therapists, where continuous professional development, research, and audit is encouraged. There is a well-established in-service education programme where you can build upon your clinical and managerial skills with support from senior Clinical Leads. There is also a strong emphasis on student education. Attendance at post-registration courses is also supported.

This post holder will have their own caseload of complex medical patients working in specialty areas with a focus on respiratory medicine. The clinical aspect of this role is to provide expert input to improve patient outcomes and facilitate discharge planning. As team leader, you will provide support and day-to-day leadership to the complex medicine team, providing clinical supervision and line management to some staff members.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
