Team/ Line Leaders
Kinnerton Confectionery, Fakenham, Norfolk
Join the team behind some of the UK's best-loved confectionery products, including NOMO, the UK's number one free-from chocolate brand. As a Production Team/Line Leader, you'll play a key role in running our chocolate manufacturing lines.
This is a hands-on operational role where you'll lead activity on the line, troubleshoot issues, support operators, and drive performance throughout the shift. You'll work closely with Shift Managers and other support functions to deliver production targets.
Position type: Full-time, permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off days or nights available - you will only work set days or nights, no rotation
Pay range: £13.59 - £16.60 per hour (£28,634 - £34,977 per annum)

Days (6am - 6pm)
- Grade 3: £13.59 per hour
- Grade 4: £13.99 per hour
- Grade 5: £14.49 per hour
- Grade 6: £14.99 per hour

Nights (6pm - 6am)
- Grade 3: £14.70 per hour
- Grade 4: £15.13 per hour
- Grade 5: £15.72 per hour
- Grade 6: £16.60 per hour
Responsibilities
- Help to coordinate the day-to-day operation of a production line to achieve safety, quality and performance targets.
- Monitor line performance and take action to minimise downtime and waste.
- Support and coach Production/ Process/ Mixing Operatives to follow production, quality and food safety standards.
- Carry out product and process checks to ensure products meet specification.
- Ensure materials are available and production plans are delivered on time.
- Drive good housekeeping, safety and GMP standards across your area.

Qualifications
- Experience within a food manufacturing, FMCG or production environment.
- Previous experience running a production line.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of quality, food safety and health & safety standards.
If you have team leading experience within a different, we would still be happy to hear from you if you have an interest in moving into a factory-based role.

About Us
Our Fakenham site operates across three key production areas - Novelty, Nut, and Moulding, each led by a Plant Manager and supported by dedicated Shift Managers working on a 4 on 4 off pattern across days and nights. The site is a 11,000m² facility producing over 8,500 tonnes of confectionery annually, including NOMO – the UK’s #1 free-from chocolate brand. With advanced technology and a nut-safe promise, we supply major retailers and co-manufacture for some of the world’s biggest confectionery brands. Every year, we produce over 5 million advent calendars and 30 million Easter eggs – making this a fast-paced, innovative environment where no two days are the same.
