Warehouse Team Leader

Mon- Fri 7-15/12-20 (from September 6-14/14-22)

The Opportunity

As Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations. Leading a small team, you will oversee goods in, order fulfilment, stock accuracy and operational performance while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the booking in of deliveries and ensure stock is received accurately.
  • Ensure all customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched correctly.
  • Lead and support the warehouse team, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Resolve any stock or order discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support management with the day-to-day running of warehouse operations.
  • Allocate workloads and manage team performance throughout each shift.
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Complete all warehouse documentation accurately and report any issues promptly.
  • Oversee stock control and stock-taking procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • A proactive and organised approach to work.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills, including basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • A flexible, adaptable and self-motivated attitude.
  • Experience within the logistics, distribution or home services sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
