Team Leader

Company Description

Here at Greyfriars, we are looking to add a Team Leader to our brilliant group of staff. We are a 20-bedroom hotel in the heart of St Andrews, with a busy bar and restaurant at the centre of the business.

We are seeking someone dynamic to join the front-of-house team as a leader, ensuring shifts run seamlessly in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Managers. Full training will be provided, and if you’re looking for a change and want to join a place brimming with energy, Greyfriars is the place for you. Busy with tourists, students, and locals, we’re genuinely a fantastic place to work.

Job Description

As a Team Leader, you’ll lead by example, ensuring the team has everything they need for a smooth shift. Your role includes:

  • Ensuring the team maintains high standards and delivers exceptional customer experiences.
  • Deputising for the management team and resolving issues when they arise.
  • Coordinating the team during peak hours, maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Overseeing compliance—ensuring the bar remains safe, legal, and clean, addressing issues swiftly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
