Team Leader

Team Leader – Retail – The Perfume Shop

Every day, our Team Leaders work hard to ensure their team and customers feel valued, confident, and special.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the Store Manager with the daily operational running of the store. You will lead by example, motivating and supporting a diverse team to deliver against key targets that drive the store’s success.

Contracted Hours: 24

Contract Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: £15.78 per hour


What You Will Do

  • Coach and mentor staff, ensuring they are set up for success
  • Motivate your team to achieve and exceed store and team targets (with fantastic incentives and prizes)
  • Support the Store Manager with rosters, payroll, budgeting, stock loss prevention, and store procedures
  • Step in for the Store Manager when absent, ensuring smooth store operations
  • Act as a key-holder, responsible for store opening and closing times
  • Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and encouraging staff to do the same

What You Will Bring

We’re looking for someone with Talent, Passion, and Spark. More specifically:

  • A talent for building relationships, coaching, and mentoring
  • A passion for teamwork and achieving goals together
  • An enthusiasm for learning about perfume and upskilling
  • The ability to be flexible with work patterns
  • Previous team-leading experience or proven sales leadership from retail experience
