Role Overview
The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe storage, distribution, and inventory management of goods. This role involves supervising warehouse colleagues, coordinating logistics, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, data and analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the outbound loading dashboard, ensuring all freight on the warehouse floor is loaded in line with the transport plan and departs on time.
- Proactively investigate and resolve any missing or outstanding orders to minimise delays and maintain service levels.
- Coordinate and supervise the loading operation, ensuring all loaders remain productive and are continuously assigned to a Quality Check (QC) and trailer.
- Monitor workflow throughout the shift, reallocating labour and resources where required to maximise efficiency and meet operational targets.
- Ensure all trailers are loaded safely, accurately and in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the department, assigning end-of-shift cleaning and housekeeping tasks to the team to ensure the warehouse is left safe, organised and audit-ready.
- Communicate effectively with Transport, Warehouse and Shift Management teams to ensure operational issues are identified and resolved promptly.
- Lead, motivate and support the team, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety and continuous improvement.
