We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader to support our Bedford operation.

For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll help drive performance across the warehouse, maintain 5S and Opertune standards, support quality checks, and coach team members to achieve their best. Acting as a key link between the team and management, you’ll step up in the Supervisor’s absence and ensure targets for volume, quality and efficiency are consistently met, helping Whistl deliver the highest quality and most cost-effective service for our customers.

About The Role

What You’ll Be Doing

People & Resource Management

  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
  • Support the coordination of shift activities, helping to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Monitor attendance, conduct, and performance in line with company policies.
  • Train and coach team members from induction onwards to support their development.
  • Assist in the creation of team performance reports (KPIs, absence, skills, H&S, etc.).
  • Step up to run the shift in the Supervisor’s absence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
