Team Leader Opportunity
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic Team Leader to join the Older Adults leadership team.
Our units provide specialist care to Frail older adults with a functional disorder and those living with dementia. The units offer a needs-led service across Hertfordshire for those who require assessment and treatment for their mental health.
The ward is supported by a multi-disciplinary team including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, the nursing and medical team, and other specialists as the need dictates.
If you are interested in working with an outstanding Trust to develop and deliver Inpatient treatment in mental health, then we would love to hear from you.
You will be an experienced Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse with excellent assessment and risk management skills who can embrace and drive change and innovation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
