Team Leader – €14.63 per Hour & Benefits
Full-time position available at 42.5 hours per week
Location: EUROSPAR Carrowdore – 42 Main Street, Carrowdore, Down, BT22 2HL
Availability: Cover required for morning, evening & weekend shifts, between 7:00am – 11:00pm, Monday to Sunday, with flexibility

The Role
Reporting to: Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager
Your mission is to lead the store team and deliver a shopping experience that exceeds customer expectations and contributes positively to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Store Management
- Work alongside the Assistant Manager/Store Manager to ensure store policies, standards, and practices are followed
- Hold keyholder responsibilities, taking responsibility for the store in the absence of senior leadership

Team Representation & Culture
- Be a positive role model embodying Henderson Group’s values
- Train, supervise, and support your team while staying hands-on in store operations

Optimising Store Performance
- Assist in maximising store profitability, understanding and implementing store plans/priorities
- Align with business targets to support continuous improvement

Community Engagement
- Actively promote and participate in community initiatives (e.g., school sports days)
- May occasionally cover the store Post Office as required
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18+ years
- Previous retail experience with at least 6 months at supervisory level, leading a team in a customer-focused environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both customers and team members
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving business targets and operational efficiency
- Ability to inspire teams to deliver their best for customers

Working Hours
- Full-time (42.5 hours/week)
- Flexible shifts, covering morning, evening, and weekend hours (7:00am – 11:00pm, Mon–Sun)
