Join SDR as a Team Leader (Complex Needs Service)
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader, ideally with experience supporting individuals with epilepsy, to join our new bespoke supported living service in Worthing. You will also have experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex health needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and lead a complex needs service, providing high-quality, person-centred support to an individual with complex needs.

Working Pattern 36 hours per week Rotating Monday–Sunday shifts Combination of early and late shifts

About the Role You will lead a small team supporting a young individual with autism, a learning disability, and complex health needs, including epilepsy.
This person enjoys building relationships, humour, and engaging in activities such as outdoor trips, music, water play, and trampolining.
Your role will be to ensure they receive safe, consistent, and person-centred support that promotes independence, confidence, and positive experiences.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team delivering high-quality, person-centred care Provide day-to-day leadership and role modelling Support individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and epilepsy Ensure safe delivery of care and effective management of complex health needs, including epilepsy Work closely with families and external professionals Promote independence, choice, and positive outcomes Ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed and updated Support staff supervision, training, and development Maintain a safe and structured environment
