What is the opportunity?

This role gives you the chance to lead a specialist Customer Operations team supporting both Marshall Leasing and Northridge Finance. You will play a key role in how vehicles are returned, assessed and remarketed at the end of contract, balancing customer fairness with strong commercial outcomes. Working in a growing and customer centric business within a major banking group, you'll help shape a smooth, transparent experience for customers while protecting and maximising asset value.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead, coach and develop a team to deliver consistent, fair and customer centric end of contract outcomes
  • Coordinate the efficient return of vehicles, balancing collection speed, cost and disposal strategy
  • Review vehicle condition at end of contract in line with British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) standards, agreeing outcomes with customers and stakeholders
  • Support vehicle remarketing activity through auctions, digital platforms and trusted partners to maximise value
  • Use data, insight and reporting to monitor performance and continuously improve processes

What will make you stand out?

You bring proven people management experience and enjoy developing others to perform at their best. You communicate clearly and confidently with customers, colleagues and external partners, even when conversations are complex. You are comfortable working with data and systems, using insight to support decisions and improve outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
