Residential Team Leader – Trenewydd (Brecon)
Salary: £15.70 per hour Contract Hours: 14 hours (w/work flexible shift patterns)

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader to join the dedicated team at Trenewydd, a purpose-built care service in Brecon. We provide residential and nursing care for:
- Older adults with physical frailty
- Older adults living with dementia

Job Responsibilities
As a Residential Team Leader, you will ensure high standards of person-centred care across all interactions. Key duties include:
- Leadership & Support: Model best practice on shift, mentor team members, and promote a caring culture
- Medication: Administer and accurately record medications per Shaw policies
- Resident Care: Escalate any changes in needs or well-being to your Line Manager promptly
- Communication: Engage with residents, families, and colleagues effectively
- Documentation: Maintain updated care plans and records
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working with older adults in residential care
- Current or progressing towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualifications)
- Key Personal Attributes:
- Flexible, patient, and compassionate
- Organised with strong leadership skills
- Initiative-driven with excellent people-skills
