Location: Lighthouse Care, Manchester
Pay: £14.20 per hour
Shift Pattern: 8:00am – 8:00pm
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join Lighthouse Care, supporting adults with complex mental health needs, alcohol and substance misuse, and other complex support needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader ready to lead a team, deliver outstanding person-centred care, and help make a real difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the service.
- Supervise and mentor care colleagues.
- Review care plans and key working responsibilities.
- Safe medication administration.
- Monitor care standards and complete audits.
- Manage staff rotas and support training and induction.
- Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments and achieve their goals.
- Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and best practice.
- Work closely with the General Manager and external professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Support engagement in recovery programmes.

About You
You'll have:
- Experience in Health & Social Care, ideally supporting adults with mental health or complex needs.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- A compassionate, reliable and person-centred approach.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently lead a team.
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Previous Team Leader or Senior Support Worker experience.
- Medication administration experience.
