Team Leader – Customer Operations (Sales & Compliance) – Remote

About the Role
Domestic & General’s purpose is to make the world a better place, one repair at a time, with a mission to keep customers’ lives running smoothly.
As a Team Leader, you will drive positive outcomes for colleagues, customers, and the company by developing, managing, and leading a high-performing team of customer-focused agents. You will be responsible for:
- Overall compliance
- Customer experience
- Sales outcomes
Team Leaders will be measured against a range of KPIs, including:
- Quality assurance
- Sales units & conversion rates
- OB handling time (reduction hours)
- IB average handling time
- Engagement scores
- Attrition and absence management
About You
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
Leadership & Sales Experience
- Experience leading a sales team in a regulated environment
- Ability to drive results and consistently deliver against targets
- Strong track record in motivating, coaching, and developing teams
Stakeholder & Performance Management
- Build strong relationships while influencing at all levels
- Ability to analyse performance data and inform decisions for improvement
- Leadership through clear expectations, high standards, and continuous growth
Customer-Centric Mindset
- Proactive problem-solver with a solution-focused mindset
- Constructive challenger who uses insight and data to support ideas
- Compliance expert, ensuring regulatory adherence remains customer-focused

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance Leadership
- Proactively coach, mentor, and conduct 121s for team development
- Set SMART targets to drive continuous improvement
- Make it a high-performance culture with:
- Focus on first-call resolution
- Delivering excellent customer service for new and existing clients
- Maintaining high sales targets while keeping customer satisfaction results strong
Team Culture & Engagement
- Improve team engagement through initiatives, feedback, and effective communication
- Foster a customer-centric ethos across the team and wider department
- Encourage transparency and trust, acting on feedback to raise performance
Compliance & Customer Service
- Maintain strong compliance standards across regulations, procedures, and data protection
- Resolve high-risk customer queries, ensuring alignment with FCA principles
- Prioritise customer needs while balancing sales objectives
