Team Leader Engineering Recruitment Manager -Perm
Senior Recruiter / Team Leader (Perm Blue Collar Engineering)
Our client, a well-established and growing recruitment consultancy with a strong engineering-focused desk, is looking for an ambitious Senior Recruiter or Team Leader to lead their Perm Blue Collar Engineering team in a genuine development opportunity.
The Role
- Take ownership of billing and sales performance across an established Perm Engineering desk
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of four, scaling to six within 18 months
- Drive new business development alongside reactivating lapsed accounts—this is a sales-led role, not just account management
- Bring sales-driven energy and momentum to a team currently focused on account management, helping the team elevate billing performance
- Earn a personal billing target plus a team override on top

About You
- Strong background in engineering recruitment (permanent billing experience preferred; strong temp billers will also be considered)
- People leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring or managing trainees and a commitment to stepping into senior team leadership
- Sales-focused mindset, prioritising performance behaviours over purely process-based metrics
- Demonstrates high energy, ambition, and drive for growth

What’s on Offer
- Basic salary up to £55,000 (competitive benchmarking included)
- Commission structure: 15% on target, with realistic personal billing targets and a team override
- A clear progression pathway from Team Leader to Manager

Location: London – four days per week in-office (remote flexibility pending).
