About the Role
At Asda, we want you to find your everything. As a Team Leader in our Food Services team, you’ll take the lead in one of our branded outlets — Greggs, Subway, or Burger King.
You’ll be hands-on in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, high-quality food, and efficient team performance. Key responsibilities include supporting your team, maintaining food safety standards, and aligning with brand expectations. Whether it’s prepping food, managing queues, or troubleshooting issues, your role is critical to helping the team excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering fast, friendly, and high-quality service
- Managing daily routines and ensuring operations run smoothly
- Supporting new starters with onboarding and training
- Applying food safety and brand standards consistently
- Collaborating to resolve challenges while maintaining positive customer and colleague experiences

Technical & Behavioural Requirements:
- Experience in food service, hospitality, or retail
- Willingness to take on responsibility and mentor others
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
