Health and Safety Team Leader
University Centre Somerset (UCS) College Group, Cannington College, is seeking an outstanding individual with relevant experience to join our delivery team. You will need to be a motivated and enthusiastic professional, a proactive, student-centred individual who can provide expertise to further enhance our teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum development.

- Delivering high-quality teaching, training, and assessment across a range of health and safety qualifications, including NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid at Work, and Paediatric First Aid.
- Ensuring learners develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to work safely and effectively in industry.
- Leading and coordinating the delivery of health and safety provision across UCS College Group.
- Ensuring programmes meet awarding body standards, regulatory requirements, and employer needs.
- Supporting curriculum development.
- Maintaining quality assurance processes.
- Promoting a culture of safety excellence across the organisation.
- Mentoring staff.
- Managing resources.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the provision is responsive, compliant, and aligned with the college’s strategic priorities.
