Description
As a Team Leader in the Health & Bodycare department at Planet Organic, you will be instrumental in leading a team that creates exceptional customer experiences that are fun, educational, and rewarding. Utilising your expertise in health, wellbeing, and nutrition, you will provide guidance on nutritional supplements, natural skincare, and lifestyle products, empowering customers to make informed choices that enhance their overall health. You will also oversee daily operations, support your team’s development, and ensure the smooth running of the department. With a strong commitment to growth and professional development, you’ll be supported from day one as you advance your career with Planet Organic.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example to ensure every customer experience is fun, educational, and rewarding.
- Provide expert guidance to customers on improving or maintaining their health and general wellbeing through nutritional supplements, natural skincare, and lifestyle products.
- Analyse sales and wastage and send reports to senior management as requested.
- Place orders and manage stock to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Train new starters and lead their progression, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
- Collaborate with your team to manage daily tasks effectively, stepping into various roles as needed to ensure operational excellence.
- Analyse sales performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Providing support for store operations by assisting with store opening and closing procedures, and other managerial duties as needed.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and enforce health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment for both customers and staff.

What We're Looking For
- Qualified in, or working towards, a Nutrition or related field qualification from an accredited institution.
- Passionate about food, health, and well-being, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to cultivate a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Previous experience in retail leadership or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices in a retail and food & drink servery environment.

Our stores trade from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, including public holidays. We're looking for team members who are flexible with their availability and able to work a variety of shifts across these trading hours as needed.
