Team Leader (Higher Level Teaching and Learning Assistant)

The governors of this caring and inclusive school wish to appoint an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

The role will involve supporting across the school in Key Stage 2 (KS2).

About the Role

  • We offer a warm, caring atmosphere in which to work, with friendly, enthusiastic children and an experienced, dedicated, and supportive staff team.
  • The position is for a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant working a 5-day week, Monday to Friday.
  • The start date for the successful candidate is Friday 4th September 2026.
  • HLTAs will have whole-class responsibility, providing cover for PPA (Planning, Preparation, Assessment) time and leadership duties.
  • There may also be a requirement for independent teaching across the school.

Contract Details

  • This position is initially on a one-year contract, with the potential to become permanent following a successful review and in line with the school budget.
