Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Team Leader to join our M&S operation in Sherburn (Leeds). This is a full-time role, working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (07:30 – 19:30), where you’ll take responsibility for leading a team of warehouse operatives and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of day-to-day operations.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Take accountability for coordinating operational activities across your designated area, ensuring productivity, accuracy and service levels are consistently delivered in line with customer expectations
- Lead, motivate and support warehouse colleagues, proactively managing performance, providing real-time feedback and driving engagement to achieve team and individual targets
- Prioritise and delegate workload effectively, adapting plans in line with operational demand to ensure deadlines and KPIs are consistently met
- Promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring all activities are carried out in line with safe systems of work, site procedures and compliance standards
- Monitor operational performance and provide accurate reporting to management, using data and insight to identify trends and implement improvements

What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics Team Leader or supervisory role within a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, with the ability to manage workflows and maintain operational standards
- Proven people management skills, with experience motivating teams, managing performance and supporting development
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and build relationships across all levels
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, time-critical environment
