Key Responsibilities
- Resource & Performance Management
- Proactively manage team workloads using KPIs to meet deadlines, quality, and quantity targets.
- Team Leadership
- Develop and performance manage Underwriting Assistants, ensuring objectives align with business requirements.
- Build skills and talent within the team for ongoing growth.
- Driving Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and oversee change projectswithin underwriting, operations, and IT for operational excellence.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure the team adheres to all legal and regulatory standards for internal/ external obligations.

About You
Experience in people management is a must. Key requirements include:
- Strong customer and broker relationships
- Familiarity with risk profiling, pricing tools, and loss models
- Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
- Knowledge of underwriting administration in Lloyds/London Market
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements in Underwriting Operations
