Mental Health Support Team (MHST) Team Leader

Are you an experienced mental health clinician looking to take the next step in your leadership journey?

Our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) Team Leader role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with operational leadership, empowering a multidisciplinary team to deliver impactful mental health services across schools and education settings. Together with a supportive leadership team, you’ll:

  • Develop staff
  • Drive service improvement
  • Build crucial partnerships
  • Ensure children and young people receive the right support at the right time

About the Role

The Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) are part of a pioneering trailblazer project, funded by NHS England, Health Education England, and key partners, dedicated to transforming the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community.

This role requires leadership in the following key areas:

Responsibilities

  • Daily operational management of your team, including:
    • Patients
    • Team coordination
    • Performance oversight
    • Safety and quality assurance
    • Staffing matters

  • Driving transformational change for Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust’s Children’s Directorate, focusing on:

    • Developing a more integrated, multi-professional workforce
  • Supporting service delivery that meets:
