At Shaftesbury North East, we're looking for a dedicated and motivated Team Leader to join our Complex Care Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead by example, support a skilled staff team, and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support every day.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience supporting people with complex needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern within a supported living environment.
  • An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A person-centred approach and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding support.

About The Role

As a Team Leader, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality support is delivered at all times.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Supporting and supervising a team of Support Workers.
  • Leading by example and promoting best practice.
  • Supporting the people we support to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
  • Assisting with rota management, compliance, and service quality.
  • Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Participating in the on-call rota (£10 payment per session).
  • Covering sleep-in shifts where required (£60 additional payment per sleep-in).
