About the Role
MPI Holdings Ltd is a well-established international trading company, supplying products to customers worldwide. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Leader to lead our operational division of our logistics department, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Company Directors, this is a hands-on leadership role that combines team leadership, operational planning and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the Operational Logistics Team.
- Manage the efficient processing of customer and supplier contracts.
- Coordinate international shipments.
- Identify opportunities to improve business systems and processes.
Location & Working Environment
- Our offices are situated in the beautiful surroundings of a Sussex vineyard, providing a unique and picturesque working environment.
- Due to our rural location, own transport is essential, as public transport links are limited.
- This is a fully office-based role. The successful candidate will be expected to work from our Bolney office to effectively lead the team, support day-to-day operations and collaborate with colleagues.

About You
- An experienced leader with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing Logistics Team.
- Experience in logistics, operations, international trade, and sea freight will be an advantage.
- An understanding of Inco-terms and payment terms is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A positive 'can do' attitude.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications - especially Microsoft Excel.
