Team Leader - Christchurch House
Salary: £24,962.96 per annum (FTE £31,203.70 per annum)
Hours: 32 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4 days per week between Monday - Friday

Join our team delivering supported housing for young people in Ipswich.
Working alongside our Service Manager and Support Workers, you'll support our service users who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping them build the confidence and skills needed to sustain their own accommodation. With a strength-based, person-centered approach, you'll ensure they feel safe, heard, and empowered to work towards their aspirations.
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee referrals, risk assessments and safeguarding processes, ensuring customers, colleagues and properties remain safe and compliant with legislation, organisational policy and best practice.
- Lead, motivate and support the team to deliver high-quality, person-centered support, championing customer voice and recognising individuals as experts in their own lives.
- Lead on the development, implementation and regular review of strengths-based support and safety plans that enable customers to achieve their goals, aspirations and greater independence.
- Support customers to understand, manage and positively navigate risk, working collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver joined-up, holistic support.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, stakeholders and partner organisations to promote effective partnership working, continuous improvement and positive outcomes.
- Empower customers to engage with their local communities and access education, training, volunteering and employment opportunities, helping them build confidence, resilience and positive social networks.

The service consists of 38 bedrooms and provides temporary supported accommodation for young people, each supported through a personalised, outcome-based plan.

Person Specification...
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 9-4 / A-C or equivalent)
- Supervisory qualification or commitment to achieve within 18 - 24 months.
- A full driving licence is desirable
