Team Leader - Anglian Water Alliance

Location: Norwich or Ipswich

Hours: 45 hours per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the water network across the Anglian Water region. Working on large diameter repairs, installations, and small main laying programmes, you'll lead a dedicated team whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained. Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing a team of one to five operatives on large-scale water utility schemes
  • Ensuring all works comply with health, safety, and environmental legislation whilst maintaining excellent site standards
  • Communicating effectively with delivery agents, engineers, and stakeholders to monitor progress and resolve any issues
  • Overseeing the completion of all safety reporting measures, site inspections, and required documentation
  • Managing stock control, timesheets, and maintaining professional relationships with customers and stakeholders

Requirements

This role of Team Leader is great for you if you:

  • Hold a Full driving licence with B+E towing entitlement
  • Have NRSWA, EUSR, SHEA accreditation, CSCS card (skilled), and SSSTS qualifications
  • Possess NPORS/CPCS operator certification and NVQ in Service laying and Main laying
  • Are experienced as a team leader within the water utilities sector
  • Can coach and manage individuals effectively, fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment
