Hours & Pay
- 10 hours per week
- Working pattern: Weekdays & Weekends (to be discussed at interview)
Hourly Rate:
- £20/hour (weekdays & weekends, 7am–11pm)
- £30/hour (Bank Holidays, 7am–11pm)

About the Role
I am a 23-year-old young woman with cerebral palsy, resulting in physical and learning disabilities that require ongoing support for all my care needs.
I am currently in a residential college, planning to return home upon my summer graduation. I seek fun-loving, patient, and experienced professional support to assist me six days per week.
This role will involve:
- A Team Leader to guide a supportive team of motivated care workers
- Ongoing work alongside my family, rehabilitation team, and therapists
- Support in personal care, communication, and mobility
- Assist with therapy appointments, community engagement, and hydrotherapy pool visits

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a support team to facilitate my independence
- Develop and maximise my quality of life by encouraging participation
- Manage resources, paperwork, and staff rotas
- Supervise and appraise the care team while maintaining professionalism
- Communicate effectively with me, my family, therapists, and my case manager
- Advocate on my behalf and contribute to my daily plans, risk assessments, and healthcare strategies
- Utilise knowledge of care for individuals with cerebral palsy and brain injuries
Essential Requirements
✅ Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (Level D) ✅ Must have access to and be comfortable driving a car and willing to drive the client’s vehicle ✅ Must have prior experience supporting someone with cerebral palsy and brain injury ✅ Must enjoy collaborative teamwork ✅ Must be registered (or willing to register) with Social Care Wales ✅ Adept at organisational tasks, staff management, and paperwork
