The Private Sector Licensing and Enforcement Team provides a frontline service to:
- Improve housing conditions in the private rented sector
- Raise properties to a standard that meets legal requirements
- Assist private tenants, homeowners, and landlords

About the Role
The Team Leader (Private Sector Enforcement) will:
- Supervise the Private Sector Housing Licensing team, covering compliance programmes such as:
- Private sector licensing
- Enforcement work to ensure premises meet basic legal requirements
- Oversee licensing processes to meet statutory and corporate needs
- Provide leadership and management support to the Private Sector Compliance Manager, ensuring regulatory obligations are fulfilled
Key Requirements: ✔ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills ✔ Exceptional communication ability ✔ Commitment to enforcing standards in private housing
