About the Role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced, qualified candidate to join one of our children's residential homes. First Blue is a rapidly expanding organisation that supports Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse, often displaying challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure shifts are planned effectively with Residential Support Workers
- Safely manage all risks in line with company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans
- Produce reports and documentation demonstrating the progress of young people using our paperless systems
- Review young people’s care plans and related documentation

Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to provide positive parenting
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong understanding of current legislation, including:
- Children's Homes Regulations 2015
- Relevant quality standards
- Empathetic, calm, professional mindset
- Open-minded approach
Essential Requirements
- Hold a full manual driving licence
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Passion for supporting children and young people
- Personal motivation to make a meaningful difference
