About the Role

An excellent opportunity for an experienced, qualified candidate to join one of our children's residential homes. First Blue is a rapidly expanding organisation that supports Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse, often displaying challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure shifts are planned effectively with Residential Support Workers
  • Safely manage all risks in line with company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans
  • Produce reports and documentation demonstrating the progress of young people using our paperless systems
  • Review young people’s care plans and related documentation

Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to provide positive parenting
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong understanding of current legislation, including:
    • Children's Homes Regulations 2015
    • Relevant quality standards
  • Empathetic, calm, professional mindset
  • Open-minded approach

Essential Requirements

  • Hold a full manual driving licence
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • Passion for supporting children and young people
  • Personal motivation to make a meaningful difference
