About the Organisation
The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) is an Executive Agency of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and efficacy of veterinary medicines in the UK.
The Role
We have a vacancy for the Team Leader - Regulatory Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the Regulatory Operations team in a target driven environment where quality of service is essential.
- Leading key areas of operational delivery.
- Ensuring that VMD’s internal databases remain fit for purpose.
- Highlighting areas for improvement and working with IT colleagues to implement them.
- Collaborating and reviewing systems, processes, and ways of working to gain maximum efficiencies.

- Ability to cope under pressure when faced with challenging stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 packages and ability to quickly learn in-house software products.
