Team Leader - Roofsealants / RFS

Brett Martin Daylight Systems—Team Leader (Roofsealants/RFS) Role

About the Role

Join Brett Martin as a Team Leader within our Roofsealants/RFS department, playing a central role in shaping our customer experience. This key leadership position is ideal for a natural leader passionate about motivating a dedicated team while ensuring seamless order completion and efficient customer query resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily team management, including performance monitoring, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Handle customer escalations and maintain high service standards.
  • Deliver KPI-driven improvements for sales order processing efficiency.
  • Assume senior duties from the Roofsealants Manager, including:
    • Product supply chain oversight.
    • Conducting customer and internal training.
    • Supporting our account managers with technical and operational backing.
  • Continuously seek process optimisation, introducing new systems to boost efficiency.

Team Leadership in Practice

Key Skills Required

Technical & Operational:

  • Proficiency with Excel and IT systems.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Lean methodology familiarity (desired).

People & Customer Focus:

  • Demonstrated customer service excellence.
  • Conflict resolution, conflict resolution, and complaint handling.
  • Natural ability to develop and motivate teams.

Leadership & Adaptability:

  • Experience in multi-level staff engagement (shop floor to leadership).
  • Stress resilience—ability to guide teams under pressure.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, employee handbooks, and industrial compliance.
