Technical Customer Service (TCS) Team Leader – South & Southwest England
Diversey supports customers across a wide range of industries using innovative cleaning and hygiene technologies, including floor care machines, cleaning tools, and advanced chemical solutions for the Food & Beverage sector. As part of Solenis, our legacy spans over a century, focusing on protecting what truly matters: people, resources, and the planet.
We are seeking a motivated and technically strong TCS Team Leader to support, coach, and develop the regional engineering team. Successful candidates must thrive on training teams, troubleshooting field issues, and driving technical excellence within their area of responsibility—South and Southwest England. If you love developing others, solving technical challenges, and ensuring the highest service standards, this role is ideal for you as you’ll lead from the front.
About The Role
As TCS Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Balancing fieldwork (a minimum of 50% of your time) with team leadership to ensure service excellence from the engineering team.
- Coaching, mentoring, and elevating the technical skills of the engineering team.
- Overseeing onboarding and ongoing development of new team members.
- Sharing knowledge about new equipment, processes, and solutions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with the TCS Engineering Manager to drive consistency and performance improvements.
- Supporting technical issue resolution, training delivery, and integration of remote diagnostics solutions.
- Administering efficient management of vanstock stock levels to maintain smooth operations.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and set technical standards for the TCS engineering team.
- Design and deliver training to include teams such as:
- Engineers
- Internal office teams
- Sales teams
- Subcontractors
- Customers
- Support induction and development for new hires, providing continuous growth opportunities.
- Complete field service work for at least 50% of your working time, ensuring hands-on engagement.
- Work with Planning and Equipment teams to optimise efficiency and ensure technical information remains up-to-date.
- Align resources effectively to achieve team goals and meet customer service expectations.
- Create clear engineering briefs for product rollouts, ensuring full understanding and alignment across the team.
What You’ll Bring
- A strong passion for service excellence and consistently exceeding customer needs.
- Drive and enthusiasm for training, coaching, and mentoring others.
- At least 3 years of technical experience, preferably within a customer-facing or field-based role.
- High standards of precision when working with technical equipment and troubleshooting.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead peers, colleagues, and direct reports.
- Proven experience demonstrating leadership, either through team management or project oversight.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
