Team Leader - Split and Load

Team Leader – Split and Load Department

We are seeking a confident and driven Team Leader to join our Campsie site, someone who can lead by example, inspire a team, and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced production environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to step into a Team Leader role within our Split and Load department, where you will act as the senior point of contact, ensuring performance, safety, and efficiency across Stores and Dispatch functions.

This role offers a chance to:

  • Lead operations and set standards
  • Support daily operations
  • Drive improvement across departments

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations, supporting stock control, stores, and dispatch activities
  • Ensuring 100% adherence to safety and quality procedures, including compliance with PPE requirements
  • Coordinate material receipts, issues, and outbound shipments to meet production schedules
  • Monitor inventory transactions and cycle counts, resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Organise tools, resources, and overtime rotas, ensuring operational efficiency
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and ensure materials are stored, labelled, and identified correctly
  • Proactively address challenges across departments and support continuous improvement
  • Identify team training needs, provide guidance, and escalate performance concerns
  • Serve as the senior contact point in the absence of the manager

Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or contracting environment
  • Proven ability to deliver results through strong leadership and management
  • Experience in people management, including training needs assessment, performance evaluation, and optimising team output
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety in a factory environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel knowledge
