About the Role

You will lead the strategic sites team, negotiating planning performance agreements (PPAs) and delivering a first-class service across a multi-disciplinary team including:

  • Planners
  • Urban designers
  • Landscape architects
  • Ecologists
  • Highways specialists

Responsibilities

  • Present to Planning Committee
  • Represent the Council externally
  • Occasionally act as an expert witness

Essential Duties:

  • Lead strategic sites and PPA agenda within the Environment Directorate
  • Provide balanced decision-making
  • Requires strong planning knowledge and negotiation skills

Requirements

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Qualified town planner (must be a RTPI member)
  • Full UK driving licence
