About the Role
You will lead the strategic sites team, negotiating planning performance agreements (PPAs) and delivering a first-class service across a multi-disciplinary team including:
- Planners
- Urban designers
- Landscape architects
- Ecologists
- Highways specialists

Additionally, you will:
- Manage a small caseload
- Collaborate with enforcement and policy teams

Responsibilities
- Present to Planning Committee
- Represent the Council externally
- Occasionally act as an expert witness
Essential Duties:
- Lead strategic sites and PPA agenda within the Environment Directorate
- Provide balanced decision-making
- Requires strong planning knowledge and negotiation skills
Requirements
Key Selection Criteria:
- Qualified town planner (must be a RTPI member)
- Full UK driving licence
