Hours: Full time, 4 on, 4 off, days 07:00 - 19:00 and nights 19:00 - 07:00
Pay: £15.72 ph
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Security Team Leader to oversee the safety and security of our site, ensuring the protection of people, property, and assets at all times.
In this role, you will support the Security Operations Manager in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused security service while leading and coordinating a team of officers. You will maintain a strong visible presence, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with all site procedures and standards.
About The Role
You will:
- Lead and supervise the security team, ensuring all officers follow site procedures and deliver a consistent standard of service
- Maintain accurate Daily Occurrence Logs and ensure all incidents and activities are recorded to a high standard
- Act as the first response to security, fire, and health & safety incidents, managing and escalating appropriately
- Oversee alarm responses, ensuring timely action, accurate reporting, and correct escalation
- Coordinate staff rotations and shift activities to meet operational requirements and maintain site coverage
- Ensure all staff are fully briefed on daily operations, incidents, and upcoming events
- Monitor performance, attendance, and conduct, addressing any issues and maintaining team standards
- Manage site administration, including reporting, handovers, audits, and maintaining security documentation

What We Are Looking For
- Valid SIA licence and proven experience in a supervisory/security leadership role
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including incident reporting
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure, especially during emergencies
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation
- Strong understanding of health & safety and security procedures
- Proven reliability with excellent punctuality and attendance
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service while التعامل with visitors, staff, and contractors professionally
Desirable (Optional)
- Experience in a corporate or high-profile environment
- Knowledge of assignment instructions, risk assessments, and site safety procedures
- Familiarity with security systems, alarms, and access control systems
- Understanding of equality and diversity principles
